Location:

El Paseo in Palm Desert, CA is 20 minutes drive south of Palm Springs International Airport on the wind protected side of Coachella Valley.

The condo’s prime location on El Paseo just past Monterey Ave puts you seconds away from the famous El Paseo shopping district, malls, art galleries and restaurants. In addition your only minutes drive away from playing golf and or tennis, performances at the McCallum Theatre, hiking at Joshua Tree National Park, playing at the new Agua Caliente or Morongo Casinos, and much more.

 

Accomodation:

Condominium (single level) – 2 bedroom, 2 bath, sleeps 1-4

 

Detailed highlights:

 This large condo has high open beam ceilings in the living room and is light and airy with tile flooring everywhere except carpet in the master bedroom suite. The Living room and each bedroom have large open expanses of glass to bring in the feel of the outside. The condo stocks everything that’s needed to sleep 1-4 people. The master has a king size bed and the guest bedroom has two separate single beds. All the rooms are decorated with contemporary colorful and distinctive artwork and accessories.

 The 1200 square foot remodel includes: fully stocked full size kitchen, big garden window over the kitchen sink, solid surface counters, and a bar style counter top open to the dining/living room, (2) remodeled baths with Corian counters, the master bedroom has a sitting room, there is a large wall mounted slate water fall in the foyer, chess/game table with (2) leather easy chairs, (2) private fenced patios, an open patio to the shared pool, adjacent carport for two cars and laundry closet. All utilities are free including high speed WIFI.

The open patio off the living room is setback from the shared pool by about 100’ of lawn and landscaping, which was designed for privacy, peaceful views and serenity from the patio furniture. The heated swimming pool area includes shuffle board,BBQ and covered poolside ramada area with full kitchen facilities. 

 

History:

The Sandpiper Condominiums, conceived as a second home were one of the first developments in the desert and were even promoted by the mayor, Bing Crosby in the 60’s.  Its documented "mid century modern" desert modernism architecture and landscape (built by William Krisel) with straight lines and sharp angles contrasts nicely with the surrounding mountain backdrop. 

 

 Amenities:  central heating & air conditioning, 2 new flat screen LED TVs (living room and master sitting room), DVD player, stereo, CD player, remodeled full kitchen, microwave, dishwasher, trash compactor, refrigerator, blender, coffee maker, cooking utensils provided, all linens &  towels, compact stacked washer/dryer, (4) ceiling fans, large heated pool (shared), shuffleboard, gas grill (BBQ) at pool cabana (shared), private mailbox, private dble carport at your condo’s entrance and a complete information packet with everything you need to know about the condo including maps and helpful references. No Smoking, no pets.

 

Rates & Terms:

 

Rates are Monthly (maximum 4 people) 2  month minimum.

Low Season… $3075 per month from July 01 – Oct 15

Mid Season … $3275 per month from Oct 15 – Dec 15 & May 01 – July 01

High Season… $3500 per month from Jan 01  - May 01

High Season 45 day special… $5000 from March 15 – May1

$800 Fully-refundable reservation/security deposit, sent with the Rental Agreement (deposit is non-refundable unless 30 day written cancellation notice given prior to scheduled start of tenancy); separate $150 non-refundable cleaning fee; all reservations to be paid in full within 30 days prior to scheduled arrival. Rental prices subject to change.
